Dimensional Linocut Constructions:

Hand painted linocuts mounted on hand printed and stitched papers; sand paper for the strike.

This series is loosely inspired by the parlor game Exquisite Corpse. This pastime was first played by the Surrealists in the early 1900’s as a word game. The backgrounds in the series are intended to evoke the folds of the paper as it is passed around.

Composed of many small linocuts that are mounted at different heights to create shadow.
